Eric Boateng

Eric Boateng holds an MPhil in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from the University of Ghana. He has served as an assistant lecturer at the University of Media, Arts, and Communication (UNIMAC), where he taught various communication-related courses. His professional experience includes working as a communications specialist on the USAID Systems for Health Project, where he was responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications and knowledge management strategies. Additionally, Eric worked as a Knowledge Management and Publications Officer at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA)-Ghana, a leading policy think tank, where he played a key role in creating and disseminating research and policy outputs to stakeholders. Eric’s research interests focus on presidential rhetoric, political campaigns, persuasion techniques, and the impact of digital media on electoral behaviors in Africa. Beyond academia, he is deeply committed to community service, regularly volunteering at orphanages and hospitals.
