Expertise and Activities:

My research is focussed on digital communication technology and the globalization of techno-culture. I am currently developing a dissertation project on the discourses around, and the development of digital infrastructures in contemporary India. I attend to state, corporate and everyday constructions of the potentials of internet access and digital communications technology as visions for national, regional and global futures. I am also interested in the growth of technocratic models of governance that are increasingly common in Asia and elsewhere.
