About iHeartMedia:

iHeartMedia is a global media and entertainment company specializing in radio, digital, mobile, social, live events and on-demand entertainment. In Madison, we have seven radio stations featuring a variety of music, talk, and sports formats; an E-sports facility; platforms for news, talk, sports, and podcasting; and access to FM and AM radio stations as well as streaming stations and podcasts on the iHeartRadio app.

We will have opportunities for:

  • be a declared Communication Arts major
  • The ideal candidates say “yes” to the first set of questions above and have some level of experience in communications, marketing, or content creation.

Pay: This is a paid internship.

Hours: Number of hours based on need and availability. Internships begin late May and will run through late August, with additional internship periods to follow.

Location: Much of the internship work would take place at the iHeartMedia Madison facility, 2651 S. Fish Hatchery Road in Fitchburg. Plans are underway to have shuttle service to and from campus for certain times and activities. Additional events and promotions will take place in various locations around Madison.

Additional Info: Interns do not need to be simultaneously enrolled in a course for credit, and graduating seniors are welcome. EOE. Communication Arts will review the applications, select a group of finalists, and forward those applications to iHeartMedia. Finalists will be notified that their applications have been forwarded.
