Master's Requirements
- Four semesters of coursework (40 credits), each consisting of 3 three-credit courses plus the 1 credit department colloquium each semester
- At least 9 credits at the 300-400 level (CA355 plus at least two others taught by MCS faculty)
- 18 credits at the 600 and above level, including at least 6 credits of 900 level MCS seminar
- 4 credits of MCS colloquium
- MA Comprehensive Exam
- 4 written exams, each an hour and a half in length, on topics worked out with major professors, followed by an oral defense
